Brown and Mason see profits up by a third

Demolition firm Brown and Mason say they are investing in staff training and new plant for continued expansion, following a year which saw turnover and profits grow by nearly a third.

The company recorded a pretax profit of around £850,000 for the period to the end of April 2007, up from £639,000 in the previous year.

Turnover was £25.6 million, up from £19.6 million in April 2006.

The company said its project pipeline was good for the next 12 months, and that it expected further contract wins in the future.
