Building firm buys own development

Building firm FE Peacock has bought a housing and retail development that it is in the middle of constructing.

Managing director Karl Hick said that the quality of work going into the scheme at Pump Square in Bourne, Lincolnshire was so high that it would be a good asset for the company.

He said: “We are looking to build up a portfolio of attractive property assets through an associated company to provide long-term investments.”

Included in the development is a parade of five shops topped with three floors of apartments.
