Carillion and Enterprise sign £500m MoD deal

Carillion and Enterprise have signed the £500 million Central regional prime contract with the Ministry of Defence to maintain its 8,500 buildings in the Midlands, Wales and the north of England.
The joint venture team called CarillionEnterprise, have signed up for seven years to maintain and refurbish buildings and other assets.

CarillionEnterprise was appointed preferred bidder in May 2005.

A consortium including the two firms along with W S Atkins is preferred bidder for the £700 million housing regional prime contract to upgrade service family accommodation across England and Wales.
