Case looks to double Euro sales

PLANT AT INTERMAT

CASE Construction Equipment is aiming to double its market share in Europe over the next three years, according to European vice-president George Russell.

He said the division would aim for the number three position in the region through a combination of expanding the product line and developing its dealer network.

'We have given some mixed signals in the past, but the uncertainty over brands is behind us, ' he said. 'Our research has shown that our customers are risk averse ? they want a brand they can trust. We want the same growth in the UK where it is more competitive, so we will help dealers with tools like our rent-to-own package.' The announcement came as Case global boss Jim McCullough said he would grow the business by 30 per cent over three years.
