US casino firm MGM Mirage has linked up with developer Peel Holdings and Bovis Lend Lease to bid for a casino complex opposite the City of Manchester Stadium, thought to be worth £40 million.The team has presented its plans to Manchester City Council but the bid depends on the Government's planned relaxation of gaming laws.
