Caterpillar's 100 years of change

CATERPILLAR has celebrated the 100th anniversary of its development of the bulldozer with the launch of new versions of its D8T, D9T and D10T dozers, ranging from 231 to 433 kW.

The dozers are the first to feature Cat's Tier III emissions compliant Acert engine and incorporate some of the manufacturer's latest advances.

The D10T has fingertip control steering and all three can have a range of computer controlled functions specified, from the Accugrade laser system to the full GPS Computer Aided Earthmoving System.

There are also new automated functions.The AutoCarry option optimises blade control and track speed on the carrying phase, while the Auto Blade Assist automates common blade functions and allows presetting of the blade tilt.
