Celcon forms shell groups

BLOCK manufacturer H+H Celcon is to develop a network of skilled tradesmen 'hit squads' to install it latest aircrete block house system.

It will set up teams of expert installers skilled in using its thin-joint masonry system to help erect the weathertight shell of a complete house before first fix trades work on the inside.

The move comes in a response to the increased use of modern methods of construction, said H+H Celcon marketing director Ian Exall.

He added: 'By offering a combined package of build and materials, builders can benefit from innovative materials and processes.' Mr Exall said the scheme would be attractive for private or social housing providers.
