Centre sinking

A visitor centre dedicated to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour is sinking under the sheer weight of visitors.The shoreside building and plaza in Honolulu, Hawaii, was built in 1980 and is slowly sinking.The concrete structure is also cracking.The Pearl Harbour Memorial Fund has launched a campaign to raise £18 million to replace the centre which is the starting point for ferry rides across the harbour to the memorial.
