Centros gets permission for £150m Lancashire scheme

Centros has been given the nod to develop a £150 million mixed use scheme in Lancaster city centre.

Lancaster City Council has granted its approval for the scheme, Castle View, which include the construction of 29,730 sq m of retail space.

Debenhams has already signed for a 9,060 sq m anchor store in the centre.

The scheme will also include an 800-space multi-level car park and a residential area.

Centros hopes to be on site by the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011, and expects to complete the centre by 2013.
