CJ Pearce takes old name in MBO

BUTTERLEY Pearce has been bought by its management team and is reverting back to its old CJ Pearce name.

Former Butterley Pearce operations director Ron McBride led the deal and has now taken over as managing director of the renamed firm.

Mr McBride said: 'This is an excellent opportunity for the company to focus on its core business function of delivering quality projects on time, safely and below budget.'

The Meade Corporation bought CJ Pearce in April when it became part of Meade's Butterley construction arm. CJ Pearce lost £836,353 in 2003 on a turnover of £16.8 million.
