Cladder to contest lost Leeds deal

CLADDING firm Exterior Profiles has been kicked off a major scheme in Leeds.

The Luton company has had its contract terminated by main contractor Bovis Lend Lease at Bridgewater Place.

Director Richard Heywood declined to comment. A company spokesman said the firm would fight Bovis Lend Lease's decision in court. The company was also working on Carillion's Falcon Wharf project for George Wimpey in Battersea, west London.

Two directors, Stephen Clarke and Howard Jackson, resigned in September.

A senior source at a major cladding firm said: 'They have grown very quickly and taken on some major contracts.

We've been getting CVs from their staff applying for jobs.'
