CNH ditches major brands

PLANT conglomerate CNH has confirmed it is ditching a raft of its famous brands to leave just the New Holland and Case names.

The move means dropping the established O&K, Kobelco and Fiat Kobelco brands, whose machines will in future all be called New Holland.

There will be three UK full-line dealers for New Holland construction products - Molson Holdings, in Bristol, Ernest Doe in the east of England and Lloyds in the north of England and Scotland. Kobelco dealers Killoran and Weston Plant, as well as three light-line dealers, have had their contracts terminated.
