Sears Seating introduced a vibration-reducing operator's seat for construction equipment, which can be retrofitted for £1,200-£1,400. The VRS Semi-Active seat reduces potential wholebody vibration by 40-75 per cent over conventional air suspended seats. Marketing manager Anthony Glick said: 'Compared to the cost of a machine and the benefit to the operator, there is no reason why manufacturers shouldn't fit them.'
