Commons update on terror powers after London bombs

Home Secretary Charles Clarke will today update MPs on the Government's response to the July 7 London bombings.
In a statement at lunchtime, Mr Clarke will tell the Commons about the conclusions of his urgent review into the powers he has to exclude from Britain people likely to incite terrorism.

Mr Clarke told the Cabinet last week that he had instigated the review, which looked at issues such as whether exclusion decisions made by other countries should automatically prompt a similar response from the UK.
