Connaught orders hit £1.4 billion

Property support services firm Connaught said its order book stands at £1.4 billion after claiming three major housing deals under the Government's Decent Homes initiative.
The firm has added £200 million in work since May after securing new deals with Glasgow Housing Association, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and The Peabody Trust.

Connaught, which will announce its preliminary results on November 8, has already secured 90 per cent of its turnover for 2006.
