Constructing Better Health

THE PILOT scheme will run for two years from October 2004. It will will focus on raising awareness among construction workers by offering training and on-site support.

The pilot scheme will cost over £1 million.These funds will be administered by the B&CE pensions scheme through a specially created company.

The steering committee for Constructing Better Health includes Ucatt general secretary George Brumwell, FMB director general Ian Davis and Construction Confederation chairman Trevor Walker.
