Construction managers paid least

Managers in construction are paid less than any industry sector, a new salary survey has found.
The Chartered Institute of Management's study found that the average salary of construction managers was £39,286 - putting it last in the earnings league.

They command less than two-thirds of the £60,500 average salary paid to managers working in food and drink.

Construction managers also take home an average bonus of £2,017 - lower than another industry except the public sector.
