Consultant sets up in Cardiff

Consultant Ramboll Whitbybird has expanded into Wales with the opening a new office in Cardiff.

The firm has poached Steve Appleton from rival Waterman to head up the new base. He will manage the structural engineering section in the Welsh capital and develop the business in the region.

And the firm has also raided Waterman again with former divisional director Richard Hird joining Ramboll Whitbybird as regional director. His main role will be to lead the civil engineering team.
