Contract worker killed in Brigg

A contract worker for engineering and rail construction firm AMCO has been killed in an incident near a railway bridge in Brigg.

Details have not yet been released as to how the man was fatally injured.

It is understood he was taken by air ambulance to hospital, but later died.

The Health and Safety Executive, which is working with the Humberside Police in the investigation, said it was unable to comment on the incident.
