Contractor sought for Olympic roof conversion

The London Legacy Development Corporation is seeking contractors to covert the roof of the 2012 Olympic stadium for use once the Games are over

The work will include off site fabrication as well as on-site work. The LLDC said the contract will definitely include the manufacture and supply of roof cables and connectors and could also cover design, manufacture, procurement, testing and assembly.

Applicants need a minimum annual turnover of £28m every year for the last three years or equivalent proof of financial standing plus a range of relevant insurance policies.

The work will take 18 months

Tenders and requests to participate must be submitted at by 3 May 2012 at midday.
