Contractors and specialists needed for £50m Grimsby housing works

A framework with £50 million of social housing work is up for grabs in Grimsby.

Shoreline Housing Partnership is looking for three main firms for a four-year investment plan in its housing stock, which will also require an array of specialist construction skills in the North east.

The value of the work is in the range of £30m to £50m.

It will include a variety of services, including building and construction work, to plumbing, scaffolding, M&E work, floor laying and carpentry. It will also include construction project management, roof works and other special trade construction works, to heating and asbestos removal.

The framework is separated into lot 1 - internal works - and lot 2 - external works - both up to £25m each.

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is February 4 2013.
