FANCY A BREW: A steel erector for subcontractor John Cooper Construction puts together a 600 mm basement raft as part of a £18.5 million scheme to convert the site of an old Brewery in Cheltenham into a mixed-use retail and leisure development. Galliford Try is the main contractor and Salmon Harvester Properties is the client.The 20,000 sq m development, to be opened in spring 2006, will include a cinema, a multi-storey car park, a fitness club, as well as restaurants and shops.
