Crane ‘heroes’ honoured

Kier Group has honoured a recovery team that dismantled a fire-damaged
tower crane in Edinburgh last spring.
The company named its high-rise heroes as erection supervisor Maurice Gardiner, fellow Kier Plant employees Brian Fairfax, Kevin Thorp, Paul Linney and Pat Glynn, and Liebherr engineers Christian Jung and Andy Akers.
