Crawley tenders for £10m council home adaptations

Crawley council is seeking contractors for council home adaptations worth up to £10m to improve disabled access and usage.

The award will last five years with an option to extend for up to two years.

The work is divided into three lots and calls for aids and adaptations for accommodation  of the elderly, frail and adults and children with a permanent and physical disability

Two lots worth over £3m each relate to adaptations to kitchens and bathrooms and internal and external structural changes. The third lot calls for the installation and maintenance of stairlifts.
