Cricket HQ set for £200m redevelopment

Lord's, the Home of Cricket, is set to undergo a £200 million redevelopment programme over the next 10 years.
Members of the Marylebone Cricket Club gave the all clear to redevelopment plans which include replacing five stands, excluding the listed Victorian pavilion.

A list of possible architects is being drawn up.

Each stand would be redeveloped separately to avoid undue disruption during the cricket season. Capacity is set to increase from 10,000 to 38,500 once all the work is finished.
