Crossrail announces £250m Paddington station shortlist

Crossrail has announced the shortlist for the £250 million Paddington Station main works contract.

A Bam Nuttall/Ferrovial Agroman Kier joint venture have made the shortlist, one month after securing a £650m slice of the £1.25bn tunnelling contracts.

A Balfour Beatty/Morgan Sindall/Vinci team has also made the list, following a £250m win on the early access shafts and sprayed concrete lining works for Whitechapel and Liverpool Street stations tunnels last month.

Costain/Skanska and Laing O’Rourke/Strabag JVs have also been shortlisted, while Carillion is the only shortlisted contractor to work outside a formal JV agreement.
