Crossrail seeks contractor for £50m work at Paddington

Crossrail is seeking a contractor for civil engineering and fit-out works at Paddington New Yard.

The contract is worth between £25 million and £50m and the scope of the work will include contractor design, site clearance, a new elevated bus deck and road construction including drainage.

Other works could include final track formation works. The works require performance bonds and work is expected to be completed within five years.

The Paddington New Yard site contains both the Royal Oak portal and Westbourne Park worksites.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 20 September at 12pm and interested contractors are required, if they haven’t already done so, to express an interest by registering on the Crossrail eSourcing Portal.
