Crowe fined

South London scaffolding firm Crowe Fabrications was fined £30,000 at the Old Bailey last week after pleading guilty to two breaches of health and safety law.One man, Joseph Phillips, was killed in a collapse at Belgravia, central London, in July 2002 and another, Leigh Williams, was seriously injured when a scaffolding rig the firm was dismantling fell 20 m to the street below.
