Cyril Sweett raises £10m

Construction consultancy Cyril Sweett has raised around £10 million from a share placing, and has conditionally agreed to place another £16.3 million of shares.

The money will be used to finance the group’s growth through acquisition.

The company provides project management and cost consultancy out of 14 UK offices and in 25 countries. Its clients include Barclays, Hammerson, Land Securities and Royal Bank of Scotland.

The group now has a market capitalisation of £60.8 million.
