DBK Back takes £119m Coventry scheme

Construction and development company DBK Back has scooped the cost consultant roll on a £119 million mixed use scheme in Coventry.
Client for the redevelopment of the historic site in Coventry city centre is MCD Property.

John Sisk and Son has begun work on phase one of the scheme which will be completed over seven phases.

The £18 million first phase will see construction of a nine storey building, incorporating 65,000 sq ft of BREEAM ‘excellent’ rated offices, 8,000 sq ft of retail accommodation and 490 secure car parking spaces.

It is scheduled to be completed by May 2008.
