Death hearing

TWO men charged with the manslaughter of Jarvis rail worker Peter White have been told to attend a plea and directions hearing next month.

Gerard Russell, 44, and Philip Goulding, 41, also Jarvis employees, will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on December 17. Mr White died in May when he was struck by a slowmoving works train near Edge Hill station on Merseyside.
