Defence battle

EIGHT firms are fighting it out for two high-profile Minstry of Defence contracts. Warings, Henry Boot, Mowlem and Norwest Holst line up for a 42-week design and build deal at RAF Benson and RAF Odiham.

Four firms are also in the frame for the second deal decommissioning work at the Royal Naval College at Greenwich, south London.
