Dickinson Dees advises on streetlighting PFI

Legal firm Dickinson Dees has announced it has been advising on a £23 million streetlighting PFI project in the north east.

The Redcar streetlightling project will see the replacement of 85 per cent of existing streetlights from January 2008. The new lights will reduce the levels of light pollution produced by the older models.

Dickinson Dees delivered legal counsel on all aspects of the funding provided by Allied Irish Bank Capital Markets. The project will be run by David Webster Ltd, the UK’s largest specialist street light contractor.
