Dixon to build schools


LEICESTERSHIRE County Council has appointed Willmott Dixon as main contractor for the second part of its construction framework.

The £50 million deal covers education projects worth between £3 million and £25 million and will last fou r years.

A source at Willmott Dixon said: 'This is going to provide a lot of work for us.'

Galliford Try, Interserve and Derby firm GF Tomlinson are all working on the first stretch of work for the council, which covers projects up to £1 million, worth £38 million in total.
