DTL fined

Suffolk property developer DTL Ltd was fined £32,000 at Wisbech Magistrates' Court on Monday after admitting eight breaches of health and safety regulations on its sites.

HSE investigating inspector Stephen Hartley said: 'The firm should have ensured scaffolding was securely braced. Access ladders needed to be secured, site vehicles needed to be fitted with adequate rollover protection and washing facilities were inadequate.'
