DUBLIN DODGEM

PLANT

Shannon Formwork has used two Wacker ride-on trowels to double production on the finishing of 172,000 sq m of concrete f loors on a commercial development in Dublin. The firm said using the machines alongside six walkbehind trowels has raised output from 1,000 sq m to 2,000 sq m a day. The 36-inch and 48-inch diameter trowels feature Wacker's variable clutch, which matches torque and speed to the concrete conditions without mechanical adjustment.
