Steelwork specialist Fairfield-Mabey is working on the erection of Leven Viaduct ? a £14 million railway br idge that replaces the original structure built in 1857 to carry the Carnforth to Barrow section of railway over the Leven Estuary in South Cumbria. The new structure has a total of 49 spans and contains 2,500 tonnes of steel.
