Early morning care in nurseries 'failing' say Ofsted

One in three nurseries are failing to look after young children well enough early in the morning, according to a report from inspectors today.
Ofsted found that security was 'weak' in some cases, allowing adults to walk into nurseries 'unchallenged'.

And one in five nurseries did not have enough staff on duty when first children start arriving at the start of the day, the watchdog said in a report.
