Easy access rig

AYLESBURY piling specialist PEDS has unveiled a driven piling rig for use in small sites with limited access. The D135, designed for Acorn Building Services, drives segmental precast concrete piles up to 200 mm square and steel tubes up to 180 mm in diameter, up to lengths of 6m. The 18 tonne rig is fitted with a hydraulic hammer with a drop weight of two tonnes at blow rates of around 60bpm.
