Eccles housing framework advertised

City West Housing Trust has advertised a £177 million framework to work on its housing stock in Eccles, Manchester.

Up to 80 firms will be shortlisted for the framework, which will last for a maximum of four years.

The contract is divided into 10 lots which will cover roofing works, windows and doors installation, gas heating installations, kitchen, bathroom replacements and electrical re-wiring.

Environmental works, lift installation work, CCTV and controlled access installations, structural repairs and wall cladding and external improvements will also come under the deal.

Up to eight contractors will be appointed to each lot.

Interested parties have until 9 January 2009 to submit bids.
