Eco-friendly power station planned in east

A major 'eco-friendly' power station is being planned for Crays Hill, in Essex.

It is understood energy firm KTI Energy has been in discussions with the East of England Development Agency over the plans.

The plant, which would burn timber to generate electricity, would be built on 7ha of currently privately-owned land.
