Engineers head to quake zone

Engineering charity RedR-IHE is sending a team to assess emergency human resources and training needs following the devastating earthquake in South Asia.
The assessment will identify gaps in humanitarian skills and expertise to enable RedR-IHE to provide agencies with the aid workers and training support that they need to carry out emergency and long-term reconstruction work.

More than 40,000 are feared dead in the disaster, which hit Kashmir, northern India and Afghanistan ten days ago.
