Enterprise acquires maintenance firm for £6m

Enterprise has snapped up Sheffield-based CRW Maintenance for £6.25 million.
CRW specialises in reactive mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance in the retail, commercial and local authority sectors in the north east and the Midlands. CRW produced a turnover of £10.5 million and pr- tax profits totalling £1.3 million in the year ended April 30, 2005.

Enterprise will initially pay £5.5 million in cash and up to £750,000 depending on CRW's performance in the year to July 31, 2006.

Enterprise chief executive Jack McGrory said: 'This is an excellent bolt-on company which will further strengthen Enterprise's ability to penetrate the private sector outsourcing market. The acquisition delivers a strong customer focused management team.'
