Enterprise boosts public sector presence with buy

Support services company Enterprise has bought human resources outfit Trinity Group Holdings and its subsidiaries for £21 million.
Trinity, through its principal operating subsidiary Trinity Solutions Group, is one of the UK's leading, nationwide providers of human resource

services to local authorities and housing associations.

Jack McGrory, Enterprise's chief executive, said: ' This is an excellent

acquisition which will allow Enterprise to enter the public sector human

resources/contract staffing market, complementing our existing consultancy and

managed services businesses.'

Enterprise is paying £7.5 million in cash, with a further £13.5 million in shares or loan notes depending on Trinity's performance.

Trinity had a turnover of £17 million in the year to August 2004, with profit before tax of £1.2m.
