Extra time for CBUK

CLEVELAND Bridge has been given an extra two weeks to present its arguments in its battle to get the chance to appeal last month's High Court Wembley stadium verdict.

The firm was due to submit its skeleton argument to the Court of Appeal on Monday but now has until July 24 to put the finishing touches to its case.

The Darlington steelwork contractor's challenge is being masterminded by Reid Minty, the law firm brought in by Cleveland president Jon Dale to spearhead the appeal.

If successful, the case is due to be heard this autumn.
