Fairbriar bid


Fairbriar chairman Kevin McCabe unveiled an £18.7 million offer to take the house builder private on Tuesday.Mr McCabe and development firm Scarborough own a third of bid vehicle BidFair, with developer CRL and the Bank of Scotland owning the other two-thirds.

The bidders already own 69 per cent of the company's share capital.
