Fatal fall

NEWS IN BRIEF

Two men will go on trial next week following the death of an untrained demolition worker in September 2002. Site labourer David Moran fell 8 m to his death through a fragile roof he was using to access the Chesford Grange site in Warrington. Bernard O'Sullivan, former managing director of main contractor Excavating and Contracting, and the firm's former contracts manager, Glyn Hines, deny breaching health and safety laws. The trial at Warrington Crown Court starts on Monday.
