Feat of clay

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for a contractor to restore the city's Wedgwood Institute, which stands on the site of a former pottery works rented by Josiah Wedgwood. The council wants to turn the Grade II listed building into 2,000 sq m of mixed-use space. Firms have until October 17 to register their interest in the project.
