Contractors are needed for a 10-year social housing repair and maintenance contract worth up to £60 million.

Accord Housing Association Ltd is looking for firms for its properties in the West Midlands, Hereford, Worcester and surrounding areas.

The work, valued between £50m and £60m, is for responsive repairs (including out of hours), void work and maintenance.

The contract starts on 1 April 2012 and completes on 31 March 2022. It is split into two lots, one worth between £30m to £36m, in the north, and the other worth between £20m and £24m, in the south. The association expects a minimum of five contractors.

The contract is being being procured with Accord Housing Association Ltd, but the successful tenderer may be required to work for any other organisation within the subsidiary Accord Housing Group, which manages nearly 12,000 properties within the Midlands.

Deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 29 August. Email
