Fork lift fine

Gleeson was fined £50,000 at Leeds Crown Court last week for health and safety breaches after a quantity surveyor was crushed to death under the wheels of a forklift truck in April 2003.

Self-employed Brian Gibson, 51, was working for an agency on a site where student flats were being built in North Hill Road, Leeds, when a 9-tonne truck reversed over him.
